  3. Great selection; I am super intrigued by “Why Photographers Commit Suicide”. Have a nice reading week!

  4. Nice week. Most of these are new to me. I plan on listening to Let’s Explore Diabetes With Owls. The reviews I’ve read have been positive.

  5. You definitely picked up some interesting books! There’s several I’ve loved to read, specifically Pain, Parties, Work or A Half Forgotten Song. And I actually just received, as in after my MM post, a copy of The Keeper of Secrets that I’m looking forward to as well.

  6. That’s an interesting collection of books. I think Pain, Parties, Work sounds like it could be really good, and the new David Sedaris is on the short list! I’ll have to read a few reviews of Emily and Herman before I commit to it–the backstory to the novel is interesting, and if written well, this could be good, but I have my issues about fictionalizing real people’s lives. I may never get over Becoming Jane 🙂

  7. It looks like you’re in for a lot of good reading!

    • I got some of this read and reviewed in April, but still wanted to share all the books I received this month.

  8. Beth Hoffman says

Nice books, Serena! When I read the poem you had featured last week from “Why Photographers Commit Suicide” by Mary McCray – I immediately put the book on my list. Oh, how I loved that poem!

    • I’m so glad that you loved that poem and I hope that you love the book. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised. I really didn’t think that I would given it is considered scifi…

  9. Commenting hoping it will go through!
