Challenges Update — Midway 2011

Read 17 out of 10; Hmm, looks like I’m an overachiever here.

Read 1 out of 3-5 books; I’ve got 6 months to read 2 more in this category.  Sounds doable.

Read 28 out of 25 new authors; I’ve met my goal for this, but I have a feeling I’ll keep adding to this list throughout the year.

Read 14 out of 3; I’m an overachiever here as well.

Read 0 out of 2 and I failed to participate in the read-a-long, though in my defense I was giving birth during that month.

Read 0 out of 3-5 books; I plan to read the Stieg Larsson series.

Read 0 out of 7; I’ll have to check on Dar to see if she’s read any of these yet.

Read 1 out of 3 books; plenty of time to read 2 more books.

Listened to 0 out of 3.

How are you doing on your challenges?

  • I think you’re making good progress, and the year is only half over!

  • Dawn – She Is Too Fond of Books

I didn’t sign up for *any* challenges this year, so I’m doing fine …
Giving birth is an excellent reason to miss a readalong 🙂

    • That’s probably what I should have done.

  • You are doing terrific with your challenges. Guess a new baby hasn’t affected your reading….yay

    • I wouldn’t exactly say that. I certainly have less time to read…the hubby has helped by at least giving me one day out of the weekend to read…and stupidly I’ve been reading while she sleeps rather than getting my naps like everyone tells me to.

  • I think you’re probably doing better than I am. Right now, I’m bombing most of mine.

    • That’s part of the challenge, right?

  • No worries on the Ireland Challenge – you definitely have a good reason for missing the read-along! We are doing another one in September – Brooklyn by Toibin, if you haven’t already read it. 🙂

    • I hope that I can remember there is a read-a-long in September. 🙂
