Mailbox Monday #116

Mailbox Mondays (click the icon at the right to check out the new blog) has gone on tour since Marcia at The Printed Page passed the torch.  This month our host is Rose City Reader .  Kristi of The Story Siren continues to sponsor her In My Mailbox meme.  Both of these memes allow bloggers to share what books they receive in the mail or through other means over the past week.

Just be warned that these posts can increase your TBR piles and wish lists.

Here’s what I received:

1.  The Tudor Secret by C.W. Gortner from the author for review.

2. Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist, which I finally received from LibraryThing’s SantaThing.

3. In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O’Brien, which I also received from LibraryThing’s SantaThing.

What did you receive in your mailbox?

  10. let the right one in… now that is enough to scare me into the deepest recesses of my blanket. OHhhhhh…

Tudor Secret sounds just perfect for my penchant for historicals. You have to get a copy of Exit the Actress by Priya Parmar, it is exquisite.

Nice loot and kiss the Tudor hello for me… but keep the other one away… gives me chills just thinking about it!

  12. Looking forward to the Tudor Secret. I read the things they carried by Tim O’Brien and really liked it. In the lake of the woods looks good too. Happy reading!

    • I think you would probably enjoy his books if you like historical fiction. The first two I read were about women who in history have not necessarily been well liked…lol

  25. The Gortner book looks so good. Never get tired of reading about the Tudors.

    • Gortner is one of my favorite authors in the historical fiction genre. I am really looking forward to having time to read his latest book.

  26. Happy reading! Better late than never on the Secret Santa gifts.
