2014 National Poetry Month Blog Tour Sign-Ups

Welcome to the sign-ups for the 2014 National Poetry Month: Reach for Horizon Blog Tour!

I would love to have any bloggers, poets, authors, and readers sign up to review books, talk about poets, write poetry, share their inspirations, and celebrate the love of poetry this April.

Please let me know in the parentheses — Your Name (date) — which date you would prefer, and I’ll set aside that date for you.

If you know what topic/poet you want to cover, leave that in the comments as well.

Here are the remaining open dates (as of March 25):

April 21, April 22, April 25, April 26, April 28, April 29

Let’s fill up all 30 days!

Comments

  1. Oops I meant to say I can do any date in April for the review.

  2. I will review a book of poetry for it. I am planning on sharing favorite poems a few times a week all month long, too. I can link those back to your event, too, if you would like.

  3. I will review any poetry book that takes my fancy.

I suppose I will write poems too! 😀

  4. I’d like to do a review for these two books on different days.
My Name Is Jason. Mine Too. Our Story. Our Way. by Jason Reynolds and Jason Griffin

Kids Pick The Funniest Poems by Bruce Lansky & Stephen Carpenter

  5. I didn’t do Mr. Linky right, sorry! I would like Monday, April 14 if that’s still available? Otherwise, April 15 or 16 would also be good for me.

  6. Hi Serena! I’ll take a day that is convenient for you. How about I talk about Kidlitosphere Central’s Poetry Friday (http://www.kidlitosphere.org/poetry-friday/)? Also, would you want to feature the Progressive Poem on the 30th? Here’s some info on it: http://irenelatham.blogspot.com/2014/03/sign-up-here-for-2014-kidlitosphere.html
Wiggles and I almost share a birthday — mine was the 6th 🙂

  7. I’m glad to see this one again! Anytime during April 7th through 12th would work for me if possible. Thanks!

  8. April 17? Maybe on a long poem if I have time to read and think about The Ring and the Book or Aurora Leigh by then.

  9. I’d like to do an author-on-author interview with Brooke Elise Axtell.

  10. I think I’ll do that new WWI poetry anthology I got from the library (unless I can’t renew it, LOL…either way, I’ll find something war-related). Let me know which date, the 23rd or 30th works best.

  11. Thanks for hosting again! I’d like to review Chasing Utopia by Nikki Giovanni.

  12. April 6, first choice, on what is poetry
