  1. So looking forward to reading this one next. I love her writing and the easy southern style she has!

  2. I always enjoy her books. I’ll ask this one to my “list.”

  3. I’m glad you enjoyed this book; I can’t wait to get to it. I loved Joe and his family in Falling Home, so I can’t wait to see where White takes them in this book.

  4. I read that one book by Karen White and had such a hard time getting through it, but this one sounds more like something I’d like.

    • I think you were reading one of the Tradd Street books if I remember right. This has none of those supernatural elements. There is some predictability here, but I genuinely enjoyed the characters and situations.

  5. I hope to read this one soon but I saw that its the sequel to Falling Home so I want to listen to that one first and then give this one a go. Karen is one of my favourite writers so I’m always excited to read one of her books.

    • I didn’t read Falling Home first, but I don’t think you needed to at all. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I do want to go back and read Falling Home now, though.

  6. The fact that you wanted to strangle Suzanne makes it sound like she’s a very well written character!
